The Baby Weight
So.... people have been asking me a lot, "How did you lose the baby weight." I have been telling everyone I don't know, but I really do. I will now tell you all my secret:
First, work 15 hours three days a week as a nurse. Make sure you walk at least 10 miles during those days and only sit down a handful of times.
On the remaining four days a week carry around a 20 lb. sack of potatoes for at least 10 hours a day. When you are able to put it down, do the dishes, wash, fold, and put away laundry, cook, and clean. When not doing those things, also make sure you change 2 sets of diapers and clean up any miscillaneous messes made by a 2 year old. Make sure, again, to only sit down a handful of times.
Lastly, make sure you either breastfeed or pump every 3-4 hours around the clock. Even if it means you don't have time to eat yourself.
So.... there you have it. My unique weight loss plan. Aren't you ready to sign right up? :)

Father's Day Tribute
-all of the MANY dirty diapers you change
-doing the laundry
-cooking most of the meals, especially the ones when I come home hungry from work at 8pm
-attempting to clean :)
-letting me sleep in
-meeting some of my crazy requests
-doing the laundry
-supporting me at work
-keeping me focused on the future
-for your leadership
-for getting up with Ava at night
-for your patience with my "tree hugger" parenting requests
-for your unconditional love for me and the girls
Thank you, Dan, for you wonderful example and for being a great Grandfather. Although we are many miles apart, your love and support is always felt by our family. Your humor is the best, and your advise and council always appreciated. WE LOVE YOU!

Sisterly love and fun
I don't think I properly anticipated how adorable it would be to have 2 children and watch them interact.
Having one child was a joy, but having two is unimaginable happiness.
