Happy Birthday MaryJo!!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to the most kind, patient, talented, beautiful, lovely, spiritual, wonderful, and best mother-in-law I could've ever imagined. You are my best friend. I am very lucky to have you in my life. Thank you for your example and love. You mean the world to me and always will.

A lovely, lazy Sunday evening

The Perfect Beach (and the perfect beach day)

Below is the beach spot we found last year. Beautiful, soft sand, plenty of shells, and most of all, a lovely shaded area made naturally by mangroves. The girls play in the water, make sand castles, and search for shells all while hidden in our own little paradise.

Directly behind us is a little pavillion with picnic tables and a water spicket.

Directly to the left of the pavillion is the "real beach" where most families hang out. It is beautiful. I love the palm trees right next to the water.

As you can see, it also has an awesome playground! It this pic was taken from the pavillion, so obviously it is also very close to the beach. Could this place be any more perfect? I don't think so!! Yes, it does have restrooms.
Now, for the beautiful beach babies....

It thought this splash pic was pretty cool.

Olivia discovered beach sand. She was intrigued.

"Look mommy, daddy and Ava are swimming."

Lance and Ava discovering sea snails.

Below is Olivia's "typical" look :)

I love her adorable "nose scrunch."

She is a very happy girl.

Below is my favorite picture. She looks so happy and the background is amazing.

It started raining, and the girls loved that too! We were under the pavillion.

What beach day would be complete without a sleeping, salty, sandy baby? Precious!!

So, are you just dying to know where this little secret slice of paradise is? Well, I will only reveal my secrets to those who contact me personally! If you want to know, let me know.
By the way, it's only about 25 minutes away from our house... a lot closer then any other beach!!

The girls' first bowling trip!

Now that Lance is graduated we have started doing some fun family things together. Last week we went bowling and the girls had a blast! Lance helped Ava put balls down the "chute" seen below. The baby had fun, but I really didn't because I spent the whole time just chasing her around, keeping her out of trouble. Lance and I both agreed that we wouldn't go again until the girls can both bowl :)

Ava was soo cute in her little bowling shoes!

See the guy with the walkee talkee? Well, this pic was taken moments before he damanded that I stop taking pictures because of the flash. He he. No more pics for me!

Car trip...

A couple of weeks ago we went on a little car trip. Here are some of the pics. Enjoy!
