A Happy Day

This is a video clip to show our very happy baby Olivia. She is 4 1/2 months old now.

She is now grabbing EVERYTHING she can get her little hands on. As you can see in the video, she loves to suck on her hands, especially both at this same time. She is so much fun to play with!

Because Ava is only 2 1/2 and it may be difficult to believe she can navigate a website and spell words all by herself, I took video of her to show everyone.

It's hard for me to believe she can do it, too!

Fun in a Box

It was so adorable this morning when Olivia was absolutely fascinated with this diaper box. Then daddy sat her in it and she had a field day.

The conclusion is then when Ava saw the baby in the box and had to join in on the fun. Notice they are in their correct size diaper boxes! So much fun I can't stand it!

My Girls

I am just so proud to be a mommy of my 2 wonderful girls. Words cannot describe the joy I feel right now as a mother. I wish I could freeze time with them both the perfect age they are and live in this moment with them forever. I love how Ava hugs and kisses me all the time and when I get home from work she is so elated and follows me around the whole evening until we go to bed.

Olivia is in the 4 month old age of "perfectness". She is the perfect combination of an infant and a baby. She recognizes you and is so excited to see you. She laughs at everything, especially Ava's antics. She coos and talks and plays and is just so soft and cuddly. I am overcome by emotions as I think of them growing up. It is especially hard because it will be a few years until we can have another baby because of Lance being in Law School next year and me working full time. I am just living in the moment and loving every second of it.

I am so glad we had 2 girls so close together. Ava absolutely adores Olivia. She has to know where she is and what she is doing at all times. Hugging and kissing her has to be the first thing she does in the morning and the last thing at night, with plenty in between. It is so fun to watch them interact. They sometimes lay next to each other, Ava kissing and hugging Olivia, and Olivia staring at Ava and touching her face. I don't think there could be any more perfect love then what I see between my girls.

Ava's Antics

As you can see Ava is having TONS of fun right now being a 2 year old. This is a very fun age, full of pretending, dancing, dressing up, imitating, talking, and learning. She definitely has her challenging moments, but she sure is fun to play with!

Dressing up is getting to be one of her favorite things to do. Here you see her in her pajamas, hat, and sunglasses. The gloves she had to put on after she saw mommy with some while I bandaged up daddy's wound.

Ava also loves to dance and plays on the computer for hours navigating her favorite website, Starfall.com

Olivia

I love this picture of Olivia. If you look closely, you can see her eyes are still very dark blue.

She had her 4 month check-up this week, and she is 17 lbs. 26 1/2 inches. She has found her feet and is somewhat obsessed with them. She also loves to play with toys all the time now, putting them directly in her mouth. She also got her first tooth! My how they grow too fast!

The Jumper

Here is Olivia for the first time in the Jumper. She absolutely loved it. Big sister also had to help, as you can see in the video. It was so cute!

Crawling soon?

Whenever we put Olivia on her back, she just loves to roll over and play, kicking her legs and moving her arms like she is crawling. I think it is amazing how quickly they learn these things.

I also put these pictures up to show the incredible hair she has. I've finally been able to make it lay down more. She has some naturally stylish bangs. Lucky girl.

She is also doing some other fun things, like holding onto her bottle and playing with mommy's face. She is so much fun (most of the time).

I am so chubby!

So.. I hope you guys realized how BIG my little Olivia is getting. When I took her to the MD last week, she was 16 lbs. 13 oz., and believe me, my arms feel it! She is only 16 weeks old!

As you can see, her little personality is just shining every day. She is so much fun!
