Happy Baby

This is a great picture to depict Olivia's personality. She is such a happy, smiley baby. Lance says Ava is the Yin and Olivia is the Yang because they are so opposite.

Fun Stuff

So... the meters below are pretty cool. As you can see, it's not failproof as shown by Ava's results, which is why I cheated and did it more then once, but it's safe to say both of hte girls look like both of us!

Ava is having some really fun conversations these days. She often talks about getting hurt and what could hurt her. Today she says...

"Go outside, get itchy bugs, get hurt, get oowie."

"Yes Ava, if you go outside you could find some itchy bugs."

"Itchy bugs get hurt, get oowie."

"Yeah that is right."

"Ok, let's go outside mommy."

Guess she doesn't mind getting hurt too much!

Christmas in April

So... this is what happens when you have kids 2 years apart. The older one wants to play with and dress up the baby all the time, especially if the older one is a girl.

So here is how the conversation went...

Ava says, "Put a Chrismas hat on a baby."

Mommy says, "Babies don't like to wear Christmas hats, and it's not Christmas."

Well, you see who got their way. Olivia doesn't seem to mind too much, this time.

A couple of my co-workers and I from the MICU met at the park with the babies. Here are some of the pics I took.

Believe it or not, Olivia is the youngest one out of the group. Aren't they all so cute!

Our Park Adventure...

So I confess, I'm officially a blogaholic. I just love taking pics and putting them up for the family to see. Today we took the girls to the park because it's a beautiful 70 degrees outside and probably the last time we'll be able to go out without sweating to death. We went to a park 1 mile from our house called Lettuce Lake. We had a lot of fun.

Here is Lance with Olivia in the carrier. I loved her in this hat.

So... the hat didn't last long. I love this picture of Olivia gazing up at the trees. She really enjoyed looking at them, and did so contently in the carrier for an entire hour! That is a long time for a 3 month old, in my opinion.

This is Ava's first tree climbing experience. She absolutely loved it.

Ava had a lot of fun on the boardwalk. It was beautiful.

In this picture Ava is looking at a turtle. I can't believe I actually caught the turtle in the picture in the left hand corner!

Lance is at the top of this viewing tower. It had a gorgeous view.

Ava's First Pigtails

I feel as though Ava has been neglected on this blog, so I decided to put some new pictures up. Today I gave Ava her first pigtails, only because now she is old enough to finally be cooperative with mommy fixing her hair.

Ava is doing new things all the time. She can sing 7 songs by herself, her favorite being "I am a Child of God" and "Jingle Bells." She is now saying prayers for the family and eating without her booster seat and with a regular cup. She no longer allows mommy and daddy to read to her because she pretty much has all of her books memorized and reads them to herself. It is amazing how quickly they grow.

Just Hanging Out

Here are some new pics of Olivia with a mo-hawk. She is sitting in her bumbo chair, which she totally loves. There is always some action in the Cromwell house to watch with Ava around.

This is a very fun age to elicit smiles, as you can see.

Does life get any better then this?

We just love our sweet little Olivia!

Olivia really likes to make this clicking sound with her tongue. She does it back and forth with Lance and I all the time now.
I went back to work 2 weeks ago now, and Olivia is doing very well with it. She adores Lance, and they play all the time. She is doing much better then Ava did, for Ava had a difficult time when I left for work. She is so content and sweet, just our awesome little miracle baby.

Our Giggly Olivia

Here is our first video of Olivia. She is so cute and giggly!

She is now just turned 3 months old. Isn't amazing how quickly they grow. Now you can see why we adore her so much!

Just a lazy day...

Olivia is growing so fast, and I try to take as many pics as I can while she is still little.

Hard to believe she is almost 3 months old!

Pool Party

This was Olivia's first time in the pool and she is 12 weeks now. She absolutely loved it! She kept smiling, kicking her legs and flailing her arms.

We had tons of fun and I'm sure we will be spending countless hours in the pool with the girls this summer!

Crazy Hair

As you can see, Ava and Olivia have very different hair. Ava's is blonde and curly, while Olivia's is brown and straight.

I say that both my girls have "crazy hair" in very different ways. Olivia's stands straight up and will not lay down, which is very funny. Ava's is usually very crazy and all over the place. I think they will love their hair as they get older.

Ava just loves to lay next to her baby sister and snuggle with her on the floor, as seen in this picture. Unfortunately, Olivia does not always love it so much.
