Car trip...

I have a new love...

I was quite skeptical when Lance suggested buying a mini-van, but we are now the proud owners of a brand new Honda Odyssey. In this economy, we got a deal we couldn't pass up.

The 1997 Mustang needed A LOT of work, and we did not feel good forking out the cash for that car when we really needed an upgrade. It is a lot of fun to drive, and we feel like we are pilots in our small road-worthy airplane. Above is exactly what it looks like.

Olivia just figured out how to do push/pull toys today! Soooo cute!

She is 14 1/2 months old and learning new things every day!

Need some prayers...

Lance and I have been planning on making some big changes since he is graduating in May. We can't tell you what yet, but we need some prayers for our family.

Let's just say that we really want this particular blessing to happen that we are trying for... it will bring our family geographically closer together.

I'll keep everyone posted!

Some Spring Break fun...

We've had a pretty relaxing spring break so far. We took the girls out to the new Wiregrass Mall to check out their play area. We were unimpressed except for the mini-rideable train. It was really fun! I love this picture of the girls, standing the exact same way, below.

We are on the home stretch to Lance's graduation in May from USF.. it seems unreal because we've been working towards this for sooo long!

Then he'll do the Mr. Mom thing for the summer while I go back to school and take the GRE on my days off from work. Life will be CRAZY! Stay tuned!

I jinxed myself!

Well, I just got done bragging to my new boss how I never have to call in sick at work because I'm never that sick and neither are the girls. I will get a cold every once in a while, but will go to work like a trooper anyways and fight through it.

I definitely jinxed myself with that one! I got soooo sick this week I couldn't get off the couch with a fever, body aches, coughing up lots of junk colors I don't care to mention, and overall feeling like I could die! Just the thought of getting off the couch was overwhelming, and I still had to take care of the girls while Lance was at school. The girls are also sick with a bad cough and stuffy nose (which is why we missed church last Sunday). They are gradually getting better.

I finally went to the doctor yesterday and he gave me some antibiotics. The cough is much better today but I still feel pretty yucky.

I learned my lesson. Guess I'll watch what I say next time around or I may just determine my own destiny!
