Twilight-erpated!!!

OK, I was a little slow to jump on the bandwagon... but I am totally into Twilight!

In contemplating why it is so intriguing, the struggle for immortal love came to mind. Bella desires so much to live with Edward forever, but the price to pay for eternity is so high that it creates a huge conflict.

I felt very reassuring to me to have the knowledge of Eternal Families, that I CAN live with my family forever, and I don't even have to become a vampire!! Isn't that wonderful?

I can't wait to go see Eclipse!!!

I'm BACK!!!

So, after my looong hiatus, I'M BACK in the blogging world again. (I've been checking everyone else's though ;) I have actually survived all the preparations for CRNA school (nurse anesthesia) including:
GRE Exam
Organic Chemistry
CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse Exam)
all in the last six months since moving to TX!! It was extremely difficult at times, balancing trying to spend time with my husband and children, my work life, and studying, but I will have a break for a while now :)
I am in the process of submitting my application for a special graduate school CRNA program that would be a HUGE, not just huge, but ENORMOUS blessing to our family if I get in. So, we are praying it is the Lords' will that I get in. If not, we know He has other plans. Oh, did I mention that they only accept 3 applicants per year? And let me tell you, there are a lot of people that want to get in... the competition is fierce. We will see :)
In the meantime, I get my life back! I'm truly enjoying laying around the house on my days off and watching movies, playing with the kids (who by the way are sooo much fun these days), and just loving life.
We are sooo proud of our little girls. They are silly as can be (shown below :)

By the way... sometimes I get really homesick for FL and my FL friends... I miss you all!

Easter Fun!

We had the greatest Easter ever this year. It must be because of the girls' ages... 2 and 4 have been great for celebrations! We had a blast...
We found Easter baskets!

Ate waaayyy too much candy...

Played with surprises...

Colored Easter eggs...

and listened to General Conference...
Overall, I think we had the BEST EASTER EVER!
I would be amiss if I did not recognize the ultimate reason for this blessed holiday... the resurrection of our Savior of the world. Thank you Jesus!!!!

Hiatus

Ok, this is the longest I've ever been without blogging.... and for good reason.

Wife
Mother
Work
Organic Chemistry
among other things....

... and trying to fulfill all to my greatest ability. It's been tough. I've cried. I miss my kids. Just my travel time to school and work is 18 hours a week... that is a part time job itself!

I'm just living one day at at time. I'm in survival mode. It will get better once school is done in May.

Needless to say... my blogging (and everything else non-essential) has been but on hold right now. I still try to look at everyone else's though (just to keep my sanity).

Love and miss you all, family and friends around the states. Oxox great love to you all.

Olivia is 2!

It is so fun to be sisters!!
Ava blew out Olivia's candles, and Olivia didn't even care!!
Mmmmm yummy Elmo cake, how exciting!
I know, she looks like daddy.
This was the girls' first trip to Chucky Cheese!!!
My little cowgirl riding a virtual horse :)
Olivia probably rode the mini-carosel 20 times, that's 20 times I had to go over and re-start it. The only way I finally bribed her off it of is by telling her she had to give it hugs and kisses bye-bye, it worked!! As shown below :)

Why do the girls always look silly in pictures with mommy?

Cromwell family photo.

Lance had as much fun at Chucky cheese as the girls!! Aren't they all big kids?

Birthday Reflection

I can't help but have a lot of emotions on Olivia's Birthday today. It is more then just a celebration, I am overcome by emotions when I think about how much Heavenly Father has blessed us with this little girl. She has overcome death and disability, and is thriving with a very bright and vibrant personality. I cannot imagine the unthinkable, what could've been the outcome of her brain injury 2 years ago. I am grateful for each day with her, and today we celebrate how blessed we are to have her in our lives. All children are miracles from God, and Olivia is no exception.
