Out of the Mouth of Babes

From Ava:

"Daddy, you make my heart so very happy. I love you."

I was impersonating daddy waking up in the morning by growling like a big bear coming out of hibernation, and Ava says:

"Stop growling mommy, geez, I'm trying to eat my breakfast."

I think we laughed for 5 minutes.

Shoe Obsession

Olivia has an obsession with accessories, including shoes. Here she is pictured with big sister's boots on. She puts them on at least daily now.

I know I accidently filmed this video sideways with the camera, but it is still super cute, nonetheless! Make sure your volume is on!

18 months

Here are Olivia's stats:

She is doing great in every way. Getting into lots of trouble and as fiesty as can be!

I am so blessed

Looking at all that I have in my life, I don't feel I could possibly be more blessed. Heavenly Father always gives us what we need, I feel like he only give us difficult times when he absolutely has to in order for us to grow and progress in this life.

I told Lance this before, but EVERY single prayer I've ever had has been answered. Heavenly Father DOES listen to me and knows my needs. He really does love me, and I'm really starting to feel that to my core. I'm to grateful for his love, and for this wonderful life that I have.

We ARE Moving!!!

For those of you who don't know yet, we ARE moving to Houston, TX. It is very bittersweet because Tampa has been our life for many years. We are really excited to have the girls grow up knowing their grandparents (Lance's parents).

I have obtained a positon at the VA in the MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit), but they are REALLY slow in the hiring process, so we won't be moving yet:) We don't know the date, but probably mid/late August.

Our family will be VERY busy packing and preparing to move in the next few weeks. Any prayers would be appreciated!

As soon as we have a date we'll let everyone know!!!

Petting Zoo

There is a petting zoo nearby that we visited recently. Here are some pictures from our trip.

There is something very special about kids and animals. I find that they have a natural inclination towards them, maybe they know that they are God's creatures and have wonderful, innocent spirits.

Aquarium

We had a fun trip to the Aquarium recently.

Below, Olivia loved to lay down and put her face in the sand because it was cool and soft.

Ava posed for the camera, as you can see.

The baby was soaking wet from splashing in the water, she was not at all interested in touching the sea creatures.

A guy brought out a live Horseshoe Crab, it's legs were waving around like a giant spider. It was pretty creepy, Ava just stood there covering her mouth with her eyes wide open in fear! It was hilarious!

We sure will miss FL!
